Yes, most of the over 500 of varieties of turtles and tortoises we offer are allowed to go to Hawaii.
Special requirements for shipments to Hawaii
- Complete a permit application (takes about 15 minutes and in most (if not all) cases, permits are approved).
- Veterinarian health check and certification of any animal sent to Hawaii. The Vet health check is $90.
- Shipping to Hawaii normally costs approximately 15% more then normal shipping, and your turtle or tortoise must first go to the Hawaii Department of Agriculture for clearance, and then immediately forwarded to you. The extra effort often inspires keepers to consolidate orders with other people, or to place orders for more than one turtle or tortoise which only makes good sense.
